On the 11th – 12th of October 2021 the SECMAR-team together with a host of experts from the maritime and cyber security industry played out a Wargame where we:
- Identified the most vulnerable areas in ports
- Simulated various scenarios
- Developed advanced digital strategies for preventing cyber or physical attacks in the maritime industry
The partners were cybersecurity experts from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Poland. The partners from Klaipeda Science and Technology Park, Blekinge Institute of Technology, Pomeranian Science and Technology Park, MARLOG (Bornholm) and Blue Science Park were all very keen to discuss the challenges and obstacles for improving cyber security in the maritime industry. A guest from The Maritime University of Szczecin was also invited share thoughts from a maritime perspective.
